Instructions: Burk's Hot Flash Minnow



	1.Debarb the hook and lay a thread base covering the shank from behind the eye to just above the barb of the hook. Cover the thread base with a layer of head cement. This thread base will help in keeping the body materials from slipping.
	2. Select a sparse bunch of Polar White Polar Aire and tie it in to form a tail. The tail should extend about a hook gap from the bend of the hook. Top this tail with a sparse clump of Silver Angel hair, extending past the Poly Aire.
	3. Tie in a sparse clump of Pearlescent Green Angel hair on the underside of the hook.
	4. Continue tying forward adding sparse clumps of Silver Angel Hair to the top of the hook shank and Pearlescent Green Angel hair to the underside of the shank until you reach the forward third of the hook shank.
	5. Tie in a sparse clump of Chartreuse Angle Hair on the top of the shank and a sparse clump of Pearlescent. Green Angel Hair on the bottom of the hook shank. At this point you should be nearing the eye of the hook.
	6. Tie in a sparse clump of Olive Angel Hair on top of the hook shank and then follow it with a sparse clump of Gunmetal Grey Angel hair also tied on the top of the hook shank. Finally, tie in a very sparse clump of Pearlescent Green Angel Hair on the underside of the hook. Form a neat head and whip finish. Trim the Angel hair for the profiloe you desire. Apply molded epoxy eyes to either side of the head and coat with a thin layer of 5 minute epoxy.
