Uni French Oval Tinsel from Hareline is a metallic oval tinsel with an extra strong core. It will not tarnish and has excellent durability, encased within a layer of varnish. Often used for tags and ribbing on nymphs and streamer patterns. Uni French Oval Tinsel is primarily used for ribbing bodies. It’s a great material to give your flies a segmented appearance while enhancing the look and providing just enough flash. Perfect for tying butt section of classic salmon flies and ribbing anything from a wet fly, nymph, emerger, traditional streamer, and more.
