West Sierra Region 4

Description

West Sierra Region 4 covers the South Fork San Joaquin, Dinkey Lakes Wilderness, Kaiser Wilderness, Woodchuck Country, and Bear Creek. The map shows topographic relief, GPS Long./Lat., camping areas, road access, and trailheads. There are special features with Suggested Flies, Hatch Chart, Fishing Season and Regulations, Catch & Release Procedures, and Stream Etiquette guidelines.

Prime fishing areas of West Sierra Region 4 is around Mono Hot Springs at Bear Creek and Mono Creek. These streams have Brookies, Browns, and Rainbows with Goldens in their headwaters.  Dinky Lakes Wilderness has a number of lakes with Brookies or Rainbows. Some Goldens are found at Island Lake.
