Southern Sierra Region 1

Description

Southern Sierra Region 1 covers the Sequoia National Park, Mt. Whitney Backcountry, Mineral King, and Golden Trout Wilderness.  Shows topographic relief, GPS Long./Lat., camping areas, road access, and trailheads. Special Features are Fishing Season and Regulations, Fish Identification, Catch & Release Procedures, and Stream Etiquette guidelines.

Most of this region has prime fishing areas. The region includes most of the Golden Trout Historical Habitat on the South Fork Kern, Volcano Creek, Main Kern, and Little Kern. In addition, there is excellent fishing in the lakes that exist on each side of the Main Kern watershed. Detailed information is on this website Southern Sierra Region 1.
