Sierra Tahoe Region 3 covers Middle Yuba and South Fork Yuba, Upper South Fork Yuba Drainage, Independence Lake, Little Truckee River, Truckee River, North Fork American River, Middle Fork American River, and Granite Chief Wilderness. Shows topographic relief, GPS Long./Lat., camping areas, road access, and trailheads. Special Features are Fishing Season and Regulations, Hatch Chart, Fish Identification, and Stream Etiquette guidelines.

Prime fishing areas of Sierra Tahoe Region 3 are the many lakes within the SF Yuba drainage. Browns and Rainbow are prevalent in the area. Some lakes also have a good population of Brookies. The Truckee and Little Truckee are also prime fishing areas with Rainbows, Browns, and recently Lahontans have been introduced back into their historical waters.
