Badger Saddle Hackle

Description

Hareline Badger Saddle Hackle consists of strung rooster feathers. It has a distinct dark stripe down the center. The stripe delivers high contrast and a built-in lateral line effect for baitfish patterns.
Measuring 5 to 7 inches, these feathers are versatile and sought after. They are used for tying classic and modern patterns. Examples include Woolly Buggers, streamers, and Spruce Fly.
The prominent dark section runs down the middle. It mimics a natural lateral line to keep fly silhouettes crisp against shifting body underlayers. Kept uniformly aligned in approximately 1/8 oz packages (around 80 feathers per pack), making handling straightforward and reducing tangling while wrapping.
