Description

The Daiichi 1760 hook is an excellent choice for longer bead head nymphs. Daiichi hooks have been an industry leader due to the chemically sharpened, high carbon steel that make the hook dependable on the water. The 2x long heavy wire aids in holding large trout and steelhead. It has a curved, round bend that provides the perfect shape for many chironomid pupa patterns and stonefly nymphs. Tim Fox preferred this hook for his Caddis Poopah pattern as the 2X heavy hook wire on the Daiichi 1760 aids in sinking the fly.
