East Fork Carson 2 covers the Carson River between Hangman’s Bridge and the confluence to Wolf Creek. Topographic relief showing features surrounding the river. Shows camping areas, GPS Long./Lat., road access, trails, and property boundaries. Special Features are the Hatch Chart, Fishing Season and Regulations, Fish Identification, Historical Flow Chart, Nymphing Rigs, and Stream Etiquette guidelines.
Between Hangman’s Bridge and Silver Creek confluence, is heavily planted with large Rainbows and Lahontan Cutthroats. When flows are acceptable and water temps are right, the planting goes on a weekly basis. That water is mainly pools and riffles. As you near Wolf Creek confluence, the fish tend to be wild with Rainbows, Browns, and Brookies in the 8-12 inch class. East Fork Carson 2 has easy road access from Hwy 89 and Hwy 4.
