The Feather Prepper from Hareline is designed to fold feathers. With the popularity of dubbing loops, this tool is essential to your tying. Made of flexible foam, the prepper will work on the tiniest of feathers to the longest.  To use, insert the feather into the slot. The feather is folded and you can grab it with a clip, clamp or tweezer. Then insert it into a dubbing loop.

The Feather Prepper can be used with CDC, Partridge and hen capes. Mix streamer fibers, dubbing, fur or feathers to create interesting effects.
