Flat Diamond Braid

Description

Flat Diamond Braid from Hareline is a great body material. It is highly reflective, easy to apply. Can be frayed for additional flash. Try as a body on elk hair caddis, or tease out the fibers for an underwing on any hair winged fly. Try wrapping the braid over a light thread base to create slim durable bodies for streamers, tube flies, steelhead flies, and saltwater patterns. Wrapped over a tapered thread base, it makes for an excellent body material for baitfish patterns.

Flat Diamond Braid is made of mylar woven into a thin flat ribbon. It’s an easy material to tie in and is not slippery like some synthetics. Colors: Black, Chartreuse, Gold, Orange, Pearl, Root Beer, Shrimp Pink, Silver, Yellow
