Flat Mylar Tinsel from Hareline comes in two types, gold on one side/silver on the other. Available in four widths: Fine ( #16-18), Small ( #14), Medium (#12) and Large (#10). Flat Mylar Tinsel is excellent for tying bodies or for ribbing on nymphs, streamer patterns and wet flies.
Danville mylar tinsel is a versatile fly tying tinsel with gold on one side and silver on the other. It is flat-lying and has a small amount of stretch which allows for tighter wraps around your hook to lock your materials in place. Mylar tinsel adds a lot of flash to your flies and can be the difference between getting a fish to bite or not.
