Description
Nature’s Spirit hand spun wool yarn is a great product for streamer and nymph bodies. It can be wrapped around the hook, twisted to form detached bodies for mayflies, or burned to create caddis heads. A common use are tags on nymph patterns. Hand spun wool yarn can also be picked apart for smaller nymph bodies, emerger shucks, or wing posts, as well as tails, ie woolly worms, where you need good sinkability. 2 strand construction, in 3 yd. coils.
A 2 strand yarn gives you a large variety of tying options such as larger dry flies, bodies on nymphs, and even making twisted extended bodies on Big Stoneflies and Hoppers. The 2 strands can be split very easily to get a classic super fine yarn.
