Description

Krystalflash from Hareline is a reflective, crinkly material that you will use on many patterns. Although, particularly useful for streamer wings, wingcases, and legs for nymphs, it is mainly used to add flash and lateral lines to baitfish patterns but can also be twisted into a rope and used to create baitfish bodies. This synthetic material is widely used in the fly fishing world because it adds a great deal of attraction to your fly patterns. The material has a shimmering effect that can mimic the scales of baitfish or give a flashy appearance to nymphs or dry flies. It also works great mixed in together with other materials or on its own. Another key point is that the flash is a main ingredient in tons of streamer patterns, like the Clouser Minnow.
