Description
McFlylon from Hareline is a bright wavy polypropoline. It floats! The material is useful for strike indicators, parachutes and stonefly and terrestrial underwings. A popular alternative to Z-Lon, Darlon, Antron Yarn and others. McFlylon is useful for tails and legs, but is well known for its wing ability, as with the Chubby Chernobyl!
Hareline’s versatile McFlyLon is a bright and vivid, ultra high floating polypropylene-based yarn like material that exhibits a wonderfully wavy semi-bulky texture perfect for many fly tying applications. A favorite for creating parachute posts and upright wings on dry flies, for wingbuds and trailing shucks on emergers, and so much more, be sure to give Hareline’s McFlyLon a try!
