Microfibetts from Hareline are a synthetic nylon tailing material, particularly useful on mayfly patterns. Also known as Mayfly Tails. They have a slender taper and will take a permanent marker pen for adding barring. Floatant works well with the material.

An important ingredient in several must-have flies. Super thin synthetic fibers feature a tapered tip for tying natural looking insect feelers and tails. Microfibetts can also be used for Thorax patterns as well as Nymph legs. Equally as delicate as traditional feather fiber but infinitely stronger. Ideal for the comparadun style of fanned tail.
