The Moonlit Big Hog furled leader has a perfect blend of Premium Fluorocarbon and Polyester thread to give you the perfect medium all-purpose leader not just dry flies and hopper dropper setups but also has enough power for casting nymphs and small streamers. Ideal for nymphs, small streamers, any dries, hoppers, poppers, and 2-fly setups.

Breaking Strength:
0-3wt (8lb), 4-6wt (12lb), 7-8wt (18lb), and 9-10wt (24lb).

Leader Length:
0-3wt is 4.5ft and 4-10wt is 5ft long.

This furled leader has a high performance tapered designed with years of experience & feedback that gives you great turnover, great presentation, and little to no memory to straighten out. This fly leader is USA MADE with very high quality materials.

The Big Hog furled leader comes with premium tippet ring (Made in Japan), that makes the change and transition of different size tippet smooth and effortless.

Apply line floatant to float for dries.

When it comes to making leaders float we recommend using the Nirvana Floatant Gel for making your furled leader float. The Floatant is also designed to use on flies.

Attach to fly line via loop to loop connection.
