Pine Squirrel Micro Stripped Natural from Hareline provides the perfect material for lifelike fly patterns. The skins are cut into micro-strips, 1/16″ wide. These skins are tanned to preserve the natural suppleness and movement of the fur. The natural fur fibers produce a lifelike appearance that imitates movement in the pattern that will trigger strikes. The softness and flexibility of the fur allows it to undulate and flow in the water giving the pattern a sense of realism that has been time tested.
