South Fork Kern 3&4

Description

South Fork Kern 3&4 covers the section of SF Kern between Rockhouse Basin to Clover Meadow (Crag Creek). Shows camping areas, trails, and creeks. Special Features are the Hatch Chart, Fishing Season and Regulations, and Stream Etiquette guidelines.

The South Fork Kern 3&4 in this area are Golden Hybrids, Rainbows, and Browns. The Golden Hybrids have enough Rainbow genetic material that they are usually considered to be Rainbows. The South Fork Kern is designated a “Wild Trout Stream” just above Kennedy Meadows to Tunnel Meadows. Only barbless hooks may be used and a 5 fish limit.
