Fly Fishing the Sierra

Inspired by western guides using small balloons as strike indicators to improve buoyancy and sensitivity. Thingamabobber Strike Indicators feature trapped air technology so the indicator rides high on the water. These lightweight round indicators are very easy to cast. The line guides are gentle on light leaders and are easy to attach and adjust for water depth. Thingamabobbers stay in place on your line and never sink and don't need additional floatant to stay afloat. Three sizes 1/2", 3/4", and 1". Designed for long leaders where the peg is released from the indicator once the "strike" is made and will allow the angler to reel up the leader without interference of the indicator. Great for deep midging. Available in two sizes: Small (3/4") and Medium(7/8"), and three colors: Fl. Red, Fl. Chartreuse, and Fl. Orange.

These amazing indicators do far more than simply suspend your fly and "indicate" fish grabs. The fluorescent tags alert you to the most subtle grabs, but even better, they are bright pointers showing you the subsurface location of your fly and whether the fly is dragging or floating drag free. Attachment to and adjustment on the leader takes but a few seconds.
Insta-sets can be attached in a straight-line configuration for short-line nymping or in a 90 degree hinge for longer line, right angle indicator nymphing. The attachment rollcasts very easily. Small and Large, Yellow and Red.

Using the same bright alternating colors as the indicator tippet, this coil lets an angler see a strike without tension building in the line. Micro perfection loops at both end allow for easy attachment.

A putty indicator that makes adjusting the depth and size of indicator simple. Beyond that, it is reusable, biodegradable, and environmentally friendly. BioStrike can be rolled in a ball with wet fingers and applied anywhere on a leader, then removed and placed back in the container.
