This premium polyester thread from Veevus in Denmark is 2x stronger than many other comparable threads and will not result in excessive build-up. We carry six thicknesses: 6/0, 8/0, 10/0, 12/0, 14/0, and 16/0. The thread is an unwaxed, spun thread that lays flat and is very splitable. The 6/0 thread has a physical diameter of .065 mm. The 6/0 thread is 110 denier. Denier is the weight in grams of 9000 meters of thread. It is a physical standard used in the textile industry, but not an indication of thickness or strength. 100 meters per spool. See color chart.
